Here's a tweet I penned recently and stopped before posting, haven't quite worked out why I didn't post it, but I didn't:

Maybe communication is best when answering questions?
Mostly communication is worst when making statements.

Questions are easier to answer in 140 characters. Statements maybe need more thought.

As I mentioned to Lesley, statements can assume too much about the people being referred to personally. Hence the need for them to be better thought through. Like my sentence construction
Statements about someone or someones can also provoke, not engage, conversation. Maybe statements should not be used for personal comment, just fact?
