Great to see Twisted Sister there, good track too, there are a few howlers in their catalogue (and their wardrobe). I used to go to record fairs as a teenager collecting their stuff. Chickened out from wearing the make up or the spandex or the back combed perm...

I bought Bob Dylan's Desire purely off the back of The Hurricane, which I used to listen to over and over. Turned out to be a wonderful album.

Low Desert is taken from New Adventures in HiFi which, for me, is the second best REM album. The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite is taken from their best album. This album being their best maybe my opinion because of nostalgia.

I was about 18/19 the first time I saw Hawkwind live, we met Dave Brock and he autographed the only bit of paper we had. He said "scrappy bit of paper ain't it". I have never again seen a famous musician wearing cotton jogging bottoms and cowboy boots. Thankfully. Amazing live performance though, and I've yet to see a drummer work harder than Richard Chadwick.

Saw Motörhead on their 25th Anniversary tour. The classic metal bands like Motörhead, Iron Maiden, etc are the best live acts one could wish for, despite all the leather and mullets.

Saw Counting Crows in Wolverhampton when they were touring Recovering The Satellites, which was a good album to hear live. But I didn't like how they fiddled about with Mr Jones >> Ooh err, that sounds as bad as their version.

Rosetta Stone wrote some great Goth Rock. Then, they tried to go industrial, which is where it went all went a bit wrong with the exception of one great track, ironically called Spoiler.
