The “With 2nd Wife Who Thinks She’s Musical” Album

I can make all manner of assumptions of what a writer / painter / songwriter / designer etc was trying to say. Like hidden meanings, humour, wordplay, references etc dropped in to add character to a piece. I may make an educated guess as to what these are, based on my knowledge of the author, their situation, the era, current affairs, their previous works, known influences etc. It's equally possible to read too deeply only to find something that just isn't there, which, in turn, could mean the point is missed, or worse.

I could write any old tosh: "The trees in Spring push forward the pale waters of June", it's too easy, I enjoy posting nonsense on Twitter under the guise of surrealism (click here for the Buyers Guide to Diminished Responsibility). It's like magnetic fridge poetry. Here's another: Stupid Renaissance art and their depiction of Santa Claus. Some may rightly think this is gibberish. Some not know or care whether this was nonsense. Others may believe that I know about Renaissance art and how Santa Claus was depicted, reading it on face value and not knowing that Santa Claus didn't emerge until long after the Renaissance art period - They may then use this quote to sound clever about their understanding of Renaissance art and a whole bag of nonsense is unleashed on the world. Then others may read some deep message that they want to hear eg Santa Claus represents blah and Renaissance art was used to socially engineer a generation blah and these coupled together form the basis of blah.

Enter the conspiracy theorists who march in saying that by taking the second letter of each word (ternhefal), this forms an anagram of Enter Half,  Santa Claus 'Enters' through a 'chimney' whose corresponding letters in the alphabet are 3,8, 9,13,14,5, 25, multiply these together and you get 4914000, 'half' of this is 2457000, when rearranged to form a date that's conveniently and relatively close, you get 05/07/2040. The date for Armageddon. (America will have Armageddon two months before the majority of the world).

This meandering post, riddled with more error than necessary, is simply to say, that it is easy to be misunderstood, easier to misunderstand and a piece of cake to waffle nonsense.

With thanks to Archdruid Eileen for the album title.
