The Difficult Second Album
Jan Moir wrote an article in the Daily Mail on the late Stephen Gately. I won't comment on the article any more than to say it was in poor taste and was clearly poor journalism. I’ll leave the correction to the PCC, trusted friends, family and colleagues.
The reaction to the article was immense. The response was from all walks of life and they were so hastened in their replies that they mainly spat hatred back. Blogs that had offensive hateful language and remarks were being hailed as having the articulation to capture the feeling. FIGHTING FIRE WITH FIRE is not good articulation. Just because someone is wrong it is not possible to justify the equivalent of school playground retaliation. Shouting, swearing and personally insulting someone is not how to correct them.
Passion is one thing, uncontrolled anger and violent toned hatred is another.
