The Need To Release Something To Pay The Income Tax Bill Album
I once ‘got’ the t-shirt. Usually a “The Sisters of Mercy” or occasionally a “Guns and Roses” one. And if I could have found one I would have worn a “Fields of the Nephilim” one. So there I was my band t-shirt my hair dyed bright red my cowboy boots and my black jeans. I looked a right tit. A happy tit nevertheless. I was not a good ambassador for this music, in fact, I’m quietly confident those who had the same love for the music and didn’t dress like a moron, hung their heads in despair. I don’t see someone wearing a *insert band here* t-shirt and think “they must be good I’ll check that band out”. I love hair metal, it’s feel good, it’s ridiculous, it’s many things but spandex is not a good look, never has been, never will be.
Bad evangelism is harmful and pointless.
