I need to find time to stop, and enjoy life. Enjoy a moment. The pressures of life can stop me from just enjoying a moment. It could be stupidly through some kind of guilt that by relaxing and soaking up a moment I'm not being conscientious enough about my commitments.

For example, we've recently taken on a big commitment, it's something we've wanted to do for a while, and it's a good thing. But I knew I just had to stop and enjoy the fact that I (we) had done it. In ten years time I'd look back and kick myself if I hadn't just savoured the moment that I (we) had worked so hard for. The responsibility does not change, it will still be there whether I worry or whether I stop and enjoy the moment.

I also found myself wishing my life away until things became easier or the responsibility was not so great. Sounds ridiculous. And it is.

Which reminds me. Matthew 6:25-34
